Residence By Investment (RBI) Programs

Latvia currently offers RBI programs where applicants can apply for a passport after residing for 4 years within a 5-year visa period. Latvia provides four RBI options:

1. Property Investment
   • €250,000 investment in real estate
   • One-time government fee of 5% of property value
2. Bank Share Investment
   • €280,000 investment in local bank equity
   • One-time government fee of €25,000
3. Business Investment
   • €50,000 investment in local business equity
   • Business must pay minimum annual tax of €40,000
   • One-time government fee of €10,000
4. Government Bond Investment
   • €250,000 investment in interest-free bonds
   • One-time government fee of €38,000
